As a member of our team, you’ll complete the program and once finished, be eligible to apply for open patient care technician roles within the hospital.
Program Details
  • Start Date: June 1, 2026 
  • Attendance: 100% required 
  • Length: 175 hours (~6 weeks) 
  • Training Type: Classroom + on-site acute care clinicals 
  • Requirement: Purchase of a stethoscope 
  • Requirement: 18-month work commitment is required upon completion of training
  • $16.50/hour during training 
  • 175 paid training hours (about 6 weeks) 
  • Pay increase after successful completion and placement 
  • Classroom learning + real clinical experience 

You’ll be working directly with patients and care teams. As a member of our team, you’ll complete the program and once finished, be eligible to apply for open patient care technician roles within the hospital.

  • Assist with daily patient care (bathing, ambulation, toileting) 
  • Take and record vital signs 
  • Safely transfer patients 
  • Support nurses and care teams 
  • Respond to patient needs quickly and compassionately 
  • Document and verify patient information accurately
